Nylabone Dog Crate

Posted on July 5, 2011.
Nylabone Dog CrateWhy not stop screaming my dog in his cage?

Before judging, listen to me. I am a student so I have class every day for about two hours at a time. It is never in her cage for more than 2 1 / 2 hours. I always left pot right ahead, give a lot to do inside the body (Kong, Nylabone, and a toy or two), and I told her pot as soon as I get back, although some little ignorant for 5 minutes than I excite. STILL, my roommates tell me he is yelping and barking and screaming all the time I left. In addition to this, he is apparently throwing herself against the side of the cage. I tried to cover it with a blanket, he pulled into the cage and shredded. I put his bed there and it shreded. T-shirt with my scent, he grated. This happened in two months, every day, never letting up. I even put it in there while I'm at home on and off and he just groans. I leave for 5 minutes to an hour and he never stops crying. I try to take the opportunity between cries to come back and give him a treat to be quiet but it is simply not putting it together. I feel bad he is so miserable and I'm not sure what else to do!

your dog does not like being in the cage, no dog, until it is their home, as now, my dog loves the crate. To train for not whining, always allow the free cash, make a cozy bed at the bottom of things to make comforable., Setting treatment there, he really likes, and simply say "Go into the cash . 'Do not force the dog into his cage. Make it feel safe there, its a safe place. After your dog has mastered into the cage with the door open, close, but not blocking. But sit in front of the door so your dog knows you are there with him. Do not pet your dog if everything in the cage. After doing this, increase the time gradually until you arrive ten minutes. So sit back there and lock the cabinet. Always be on his side, every 5 minutes, turn a little further until you're 10 feet away. After it goes very well with that, try to go about daily activities, but put some toys and bones in his cage. If he does not whine, go outside and make sure it is here door closed. Ask your roommates to tell you the action re dogs. It should be fine. thins Hope helps-Good luck with your dog !!!:-)

If you do not have time to train a puppy, you should gey someone who knows how

Do you really trained or crate you just throw it in one day and expect him to behave? Dogs need to be taught that their body is a safe and enjoyable. It may simply be a "cage" that separates you and he is anxious. Back to basics and see if that helps. If you do not know the basics, then you. Go to the library and consult books on crate training. Talk to your veterinarian or trainer on the training fund. Use thousands of Internet sites for information on crate training. Whatever is best for you. If all else fails, consider a dog day care for your dog. Its expensive though.

hes the point of having to learn, but in the meen time when hes not in the box to give much care

My dog does the same thing, but he finally settled down. I heard people say that exercise helps before, but it does absolutely nothing for my dog. I think my dog has some separation anxiety. But he does the same screaming and beating against the cage like yours. It usually takes him about 20 minutes to calm down. Maybe your roommates are exaggerating about him doing it 2 1 / 2 hours together, roommates do sometimes ... I know mine does.
